Kondex Corporation, the manufacturer of KX7 concaves, also manufactures traditional and high-wear versions of standard concaves for John Deere, Case IH, Massey Ferguson, Challenger, and Gleaner combines. All of its concaves utilize robotic, pulse welding and must meet stringent quality assurance measures. So, how do you know which concave is right for you? Here is a quick summary of each concave's benefits.
Traditional Concaves - For General Purpose
Our high-quality traditional concaves are an excellent choice for general purpose use. These concaves fit up well without machine modification, and are available in small wire, large wire, and round bar assemblies.
High-Wear Concaves - For Abrasive Conditions
Like the KX7 MaxThreshTM assemblies, the Kondex high-wear concaves utilize a TungstrongTM wear application that delivers an estimated 2-3 times greater life! These high-wear concaves are ideal for tough threshing crops, and are ideal for abrasive conditions.
KX7 Concaves - For Machine Optimization
KX7 concaves offer the highest degree of machine optimization. Their unique box design improves threshing, and allows for greater capacity and productivity. MaxThreshTM boxes come standard with our proprietary TungstrongTM wear additive, and MaxRoundTM boxes are heat treated for optimal life. Because of their half-width design, you're given more configuration and customization options than most standard concaves, allowing you to Take Control of Your Harvest!
